Bharat hamko jan se bhi pyara hai :)

Bharat hamko jan se bhi pyara hai :)

The Republic Day is celebrated every year on January 26.
It was the Lahore Session of the Indian National Congress at midnight of December 31, 1929 - January 1, 1930, that the Tricolour was unfurled by nationalists and a pledge taken that every year on January 26 "Independence Day" would be celebrated and that the people would unceasingly strive for the establishment of a Sovereign Democratic Republic of India. We present India's first Prime Minister's reminisces about the Lahore Session.
President Rajendra Prasad's reply to the speech of the Doyen of the Diplomatic Corps at the Banquet in Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, on January 26, 1950, after India was formally declared a Republic, strikes a formal note.
Some of the Best Patriotic Songs:
  1. ae mere vatan ke logo, jara aankh me bhar lo pani
  2. Film roja ka gana hai ’ bharat humko jaan se pyara hai, subse pyara gulsata humara hai’
  3. ’Ae mere pyare vatan, ae mere bichare chaman, tujh pe dil kurbaan’
  4. * ’Panchi nadiya pawan ke jhoke, koi sarhad na inhe roke’
  5. * ’jan gan man adhinakyak jai he, bharat bhagya vidhata ’
  6. * Vande maataram, sujalaam sufalaam, malayaj sheetalaam’
How I remember praticing and singing on each of the National day celebrations @school / college :D

This is a very nice effort...yup we're all proud to be Indians - and its nice to be reminded of that.
Just like its said that for relationships to work, its important to show your love - so it is with our relationship with our motherland...it is important to show we love her.

Talent vs Attitude - harsha bhogle

It all begins in the mind..... A must-watch talk on why attitude matters, not talent. Presented at IIM Ahmedabad by Harsha Bhogle, a well known cricket commentator in India. A summary is here: How one deals with a certain situation tells about a person... Rightly said, its the attitude which determines the altitude... And for those who can spare out some time for the complete talk: part 2: what you heard in the summary.. belongs here
